Most suppliers hand you a warranty number and step back. We service Welch Allyn instruments in our own workshop or on-site — heads, handles, cuffs and wall systems.

Buying Welch Allyn in South Africa
Two things are worth knowing before you order diagnostic instruments here.
Ask who services it. A diagnostic set is a fifteen-to-twenty-year purchase. The question that matters is not the price today but who repairs the handle in year six and who calibrates the sphygmomanometer before your next inspection. We are SAHPRA-registered (#00001974MD & #00002058MD), ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 certified, and B-BBEE Level 1 — which matters when you are supplying the public sector.
LED or halogen changes the running cost. The LED instruments cost more up front and remove bulb replacement almost entirely. If you are equipping several rooms, that difference compounds — and we will tell you honestly which way round it works for your volume.
Already own Welch Allyn instruments?
You do not have to have bought them from us. We repair and calibrate instruments regardless of where they came from, across South Africa, with same-day response in Gauteng. If a head has gone dim, a cuff will not hold pressure, or an audit is coming, that is an equipment service rather than a purchase.

It depends on wall space, how many rooms you are equipping and whether you want LED. A wall system such as the 77747 suits a permanent room; a Professional Plus or Elite set suits a practice that needs portability. Describe the room on the form above and we will specify it — that is part of new practice setup.
